Cardin Statement on Moscow Terrorist Attack

WASHINGTONU.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-Md.), Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, released a statement today following a deadly terrorist attack on a crowded concert hall near Moscow on Friday that left at least 133 people dead.

“Myrna and I extend our heartfelt condolences to the victims and families whose lives will be forever changed following Friday’s terrorist attack in Moscow. This chilling incident underscores the ongoing danger posed by global extremism, emphasizing the need for unified efforts to dismantle terrorist networks and prevent further attacks. While the claim by ISIS-K awaits confirmation, the United States mourns with the Russian people over this shocking loss of life, and will continue to work collaboratively with our international partners to combat these threats worldwide.”
