Cardin, Van Hollen, Delaney Welcome Frederick County Chamber of Commerce to United States Capitol

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Ben Cardin, along with U.S. Representatives Chris Van Hollen and John Delaney (all D-Md.) spoke to members of the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce about federal issues impacting economic growth in Frederick County. Cardin, Van Hollen and Delaney discussed the importance of continued investment in transportation infrastructure in the area. Frederick is one of the fastest growing cities in Maryland. To continue that trend the members highlighted the importance of upgrading and expanding Interstate 270. Specifically, they addressed need to pass a long term reauthorization to the Highway Trust Fund.
